Having opened back in 1938, Portofinos is well known, traditional, family-run Italian Restaurant in Newcastle. Their existing website was tired & dated, and we were delighted to work with them to create a fresh, user friendly, mobile optimised website. Portofino were keen to communicate the history of the business and to feature the stunning grade II listed building that the restaurant inhabits, combined with a modern design.
A booking system allows customers to make online table reservations quickly and easily, whilst the embedded Trip advisor ratings & reviews gives customer confidence in the quality of food and service provided. Downloadable PDF's provide details on the range of menus available, whilst the website Content Management System (CMS) gives Portofino full control over uploading seasonal menus and managing their entire site.
A mailing list sign up area captures customer email addresses, so that newsletters can be sent out to promote events and offers, driving both new and repeat business into the restaurant. Gift Vouchers can also be purchased online to treat friends or family to a celebratory meal at Portofinos for a birthday, anniversary or special occasion.
A google map locator promotes the exact location of the restaurant, whilst clear contact details ensure that customers can get in touch quickly and easily if they want to make an enquiry.
